June 2024

June came, and June went, and I never got around to jotting it down.

It’s been a busy month.
Frank’s memorial. A stomach virus. Kate’s memorial. Roast pig at a birthday party. A visit from my sister. Trouble with DigSafe. An auction that went south.  A heat wave. A long and lazy visit by all the girls and both the boys. And my niece.
Whew.

It took two rocks at the bottom of the hole to convince me to just hire a damn excavator.

I always wanted a TIG welder.
I’m trying to remember why.

A tree fell on the driveway, and nobody heard a thing.

Child proof

I manned the grill

Mary manned the bar

Nobody starved.

That stack of spacers doesn’t look very sturdy to me, either.
