The willow on the hillside was getting too big, and blocking our view.
We took care of that

Trying to propagate willows to plant on the – other – side of the house.

If I were sitting on a gold mine, I’d be rich.
Instead, I’m sitting on a manganese mine, and my water tastes bad.
It’s been like this for years and, when it gets really bad, I give it a stiff dose of chlorine, and I’m good for a couple months.
But the smell always comes back, and it’s a pain in the butt to treat, so we finally hired a professional and got it fixed. Problem solved.
Part of me is happy, but part of me can’t quite believe that I got it so wrong for so long.
Clearly, there is some kind of an organism in our water that makes it smell like rotten eggs, so my approach was blunt: Kill the organism.
Which works, until they rise from the dead, smellier than before.
The water guys’ approach was: test the water. Remove the manganese. Starve the organism. Which works.

It works. Worth every penny.

Swarf on a keyway broach. Ain’t that cool?

B3PR is mechanically complete. Moving on to the wiring harness.

Murphy bed project. So far, nothing has gone wrong.
