I took a walk in Washington Courthouse, Pennsylvania

I know what you’re thinking:
What makes this trip worth all the effort? It sounds like a lot of bother to get from point A to point B, doesn’t it?? It doesn’t sound like much fun.

Every day, I find myself in a new small town. I never know which town it will be until about 4 in the afternoon, when I pick a place to stop,  50-100 miles west me.
I check in. I eat dinner, and I take a walk.

My first walk, I wasn’t sure whether I should be worried about my personal safety. I dress like Forrest Gump, and I don’t do anything provocative, but I take a lot of pictures,  I look in a lot of store windows and I walk erratically. After dark. I’m pretty sure I’m not going to get mugged, because nobody fucks with a 6’3” 200# piece of lean meat. But I know for sure that the police know I’m there.

Washington Courthouse was my first walk, and I forgot my phone, so there are no photos.
Stay tuned for more colorful walk talks.
